AI anime roleplay means chatting with an AI character built from a character card — a name, a personality, a greeting, example dialogue and tags. The model plays the character; you play yourself or a persona. It sounds simple, and it is, but a few habits separate forgettable chats from scenes you'll want to continue for months.

How a character card shapes the scene

The greeting sets the opening situation and tone. Example dialogue teaches the character how it should speak — rhythm, vocabulary, whether it's teasing or earnest. Starting your first scene

• If the tone isn't right, use OOC (out-of-character) instructions to steer: pacing, what happens next, how the character should react.
